           In the unseen realm of the subconscious exists a world of abstract thoughts: echoes and shadows of our reality. Artists possess the unique ability to bridge our world of visceral experiences to this dark, unknown terrain. One must not harbour fear towards the dark, but rather, find a way through it – and in doing so, discover more about oneself. Sometimes, however, a bridge is not enough. Sometimes, one must bring their shadows into the light – create a solid shadow, upon which they may gaze, dissect, criticize, and ultimately choose to vanquish or embrace . . .
